Prior to this activity, how would you rank yourself in knowledge about the topic. (1-No Knowledge at atll, 2-Very Little Knowledge, 3-Some knowledge, 4-A good amount of knowledge, 5-I knew all about this)

3- Some knowledge, I was able to piece some things together from past classes and inferences regarding the creation of the grid as well as sampling techniques, but doing the spatial sampling was very new to me.

Following this activity, how would you rate the amount of knowledge you have on the topic (1- I don’t really know enough to talk about the topic, 2- I know enough to explain what I did, 3-I know enough to repeat what I did, 4-I know enough to teach someone else, 5- I am an expert)

What types of learning strategies would you recommend to make the activity even better?

I have no suggestions. I thought the hands off approach and no formal prior knowledge forced us to learn a great deal on our own.

3: I had knowledge of how we were going to conduct the survey and of what ArcScene would do with the data, but I have never used ArcScene before and I also did not know of all the data interpolation methods that could be used to capture data in a specific continuous surface.

4: I would say that the hands on approach of ArcScene definitely helped me in understanding the program for the first time. The hands on surveying the second time I would say helped reinforce what I had learned the first time, but was not a large addition to my knowledge.
